  • As a Senior Accountant, this person will handle various accounting operations within the company. You must have a keen attention to detail and maintain account balances, financial statements, general ledger, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on monthly and annual financial statements analysis and research
  • Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling, and resolving discrepancies
  • Summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
  • Take an active role in advancing the team’s strategic initiatives
  • Ensures the integrity of accounting by performing complex reconciliations
  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Prepare financial statements and produce budgets according to schedule
  • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast processes
  • Complete other projects, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Controller or CFO

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an Accountant role
  • CPA or CIA certification with an active license is preferred
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), presentation and influencing skills
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently on multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Experience in financial institutions is a plus
  • Advanced capacity in Excel a necessity
  • Knowledge in Tableau, budget software, general ledger systems and SQL capacity is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field (Masters degree a plus)
