We are growing our recruiting team, and we’re looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join the team. As our Recruiting Coordinator, you will work closely with our recruiters to identify, engage, and manage candidates from a variety of backgrounds to build our team. You will be successful in this role if you are optimistic, creative, organized, flexible, and have a real passion for details and a deep dedication to diversity. We’ve made some progress, but we aren’t yet satisfied. We still have a way to go, and you’ll be a part of it.

What will you do?

    • You will be the keeper of our recruitment process and metrics
    • You will balance the need to personalize each candidate’s experience with our commitment to managing bias
    • You will partner directly with internal teams and candidates to schedule interviews, by phone, Google Hangout, and in-person
    • You will help refine our recruiting process and contribute ideas on how we can be more efficient as we scale
    • You will collaborate with a bi-coastal team, and use and develop your excellent communication skills
    • You will act as an ambassador for Medium as the first point of contact for candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

    • You have at least two years of coordination experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting team
    • You have experience working with and building operational practices with recruiting partners and hiring managers
    • You have experience (and enjoy!) engaging candidates and internal partners
    • You have worked in a team environment before
    • You have experience using an Applicant Tracking System and Google calendars
