Facebook is seeking a Director, Deputy Chief Compliance Officer – Facebook Payments to support a growing, international payments ecosystem at Facebook, conduct regular meetings with regulators, and lead a growing international team. The Deputy Chief Compliance Officer will manage all payments compliance efforts for a range of financial services products offered by Facebook and will report to the Chief Compliance Officer for Payments.
  • Manage compliance with all U.S. and international regulations, such as the Central Bank of Ireland, related to the offering of financial services (including money transmission, OFAC screening, KYC, suspicious activity reporting, PEP monitoring, and transaction monitoring).
  • Regularly meet with regulators regarding Facebook’s financial services products.
  • Manage a growing team of contractors, compliance analysts, and compliance managers.
  • Work closely with teams across the company including Legal, Operations, Engineering, Risk and Product Management.
  • Ensure that Facebook implements appropriate controls and monitoring to satisfy its obligations to various regulatory authorities.
  • Stay current on applicable regulations and utilize independent judgment in the application of those regulations.
  • Provide regular feedback to executives regarding payments compliance activity.


  • 10+ years of experience in financial services compliance (regulatory, bank services or money transmission background).
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Experience with time management and directing a team to multi-task under deadlines.
  • ACAMS Certification, legal degree or other similar memberships.
