  • The Chicago office is looking for an Associate who will work collaboratively with colleagues in the North American industry coverage teams and our colleagues from offices around the world on international/cross-border projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work with project teams on multiple M&A transactions playing a critical role in the execution of client mandates and new business development work
  • Oversee the work of Analysts and encourage growth and development in their roles
  • Attend client meetings, industry conferences, and external training sessions
  • Adhere to all compliance regulations and confidentiality policies

Education & Qualifications

  • Finance degree or a degree in a related field
  • 3.5 GPA or above

Experience, Skills, and Competencies Required

  • Prior experience in Investment Banking required
  • Experience working with mid to large-cap public and private M&A transactions
  • Aptitude for financial modeling related to private and public M&A, LBO’s and strategic valuation analyses
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and assume a high level of responsibility
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling
  • Maintain good working relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Drive, enthusiasm and excellent interpersonal skills
