Reporting to the Global Head of Derivatives and Multi-Asset Trading, the Solutions Manager role is responsible for development and delivery of the Multi-Asset Trading strategy. The role requires close coordination with the Multi-Asset Trading Solutions team and associated business units to lead the roadmap for new capabilities, implementation of future state workflows, communication of business requirements and broader coordination through the end-to-end derivative workflow.


Strategic Business Planning

  • Actively work to improve derivative capabilities, simplify workflows and processes
  • Make recommendations and influence decisions across functions on a global scale
  • Create innovative solutions to improve process, workflow, best practice and delivery
  • Challenge conventional thinking, problem solving and innovating
  • Identify, pilot and apply new technology to improve workflows and analysis
  • Drive informed, strategic prioritisation of new capabilities across the platform
  • Responsible for developing, documenting and implementing global standards, workflows, processes and best practices across the derivatives domain
  • Track and monitor incoming capability requests and integrate into roadmap

Communication & coordination of matrixed team

  • Communicate strategic planning and derivatives roadmap to all stakeholders
  • Create clear, concise, high quality communications and presentations for internal and external clients
  • Actively share knowledge and best practices across the platform
  • Communicating and promoting the purpose and benefits of Multi-Asset Trading capability within TRP
  • Work with Global Trading, Derivatives Operations, Portfolio Modelling, Risk, Fixed Income and Technology to coordinate efficient delivery of derivative solutions to Investments and Trading
  • Coaching and mentoring others including core and embedded  team members

Subject matter expert

  • Participate in existing derivative governance committees and represent Derivatives & Multi-Asset Trading’s roadmap and prioritisation
  • Participating in industry events, bringing knowledge and information back to team
  • Maintain subject matter expertise by participating in relevant professional and industry bodies
  • Manage and build relationships with external parties and regulatory authorities


  • College degree and 5 years of related work experience
  • Financial industry experience
  • Derivatives / multi-asset experience
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong collaboration and consensus building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with contacts at all levels in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to influence across multiple levels of management
  • Ability to think critically with high degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to make complex decisions & solve complex problems
  • Engage and effectively manage stakeholders
  • Willingness to step forward to lead as needed


  • Master’s degree

  • Minimum 10 years related work experience
  • 2+ years of direct derivatives related experience
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Agile experience


  • Managing a wide range of stakeholder relationships
  • Influencing key stakeholders and management
  • Managing a diverse range of derivative related requests and issues
  • Actively demonstrating the value of Multi-Asset Trading Solutions to the business
