Overview:

The role of the Investor Relations Analyst will be to support the Investor Relations (IR) team. This team is responsible for fundraising, creating and maintaining marketing materials, interfacing with Vista’s investors and responding to investor requests. The ideal candidate for the position will have a finance background (both educational and practical experience), great attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to work well under tight deadlines and capacity to manage multiple tasks and work streams effectively. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and exhibit confidence to work both independently and to collaborate with a variety of individuals throughout the Vista organization. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong interest in the alternative investments space. There will be opportunities to progress in the IR team for high performing candidates. Primary responsibilities may include:

Investor / Due Diligence Requests

  • Compile information / conduct detailed quantitative analysis in response to data intensive investor requests
  • Track investor requests for proper completion and coordinate amongst internal teams to identify proper information and review
  • Maintain standardized investor request files on a regular basis

Quarterly Reporting

  • Coordinate obtaining all information for the Quarterly Report with Investment Teams and the Finance Department
  • Review of all Quarterly Report content and formatting
  • Perform research on the technology and software industry and macro-economic data for the Quarterly Investor Letter

Marketing Materials

  • Maintain up-to-date marketing materials for all of Vista’s funds

Investor Database (CRM, Data Room and Pipeline Management)

  • Maintain investor profiles and update investor databases to include relevant activity updates and investor information
  • Maintain online investor and due diligence data rooms to reflect most up to date documentation and marketing materials are available
  • Manage fundraising pipeline(s) to ensure all interaction is tracked and due diligence follow-up processes are maintained

Investor Meeting Preparation

  • Prepare investor profiles, agendas, bios and any additional research and briefing documentation required in advance of meetings
  • Assist with the coordination of fundraising and investor road show logistics

Investor Events

  • Assist in the logistical coordination and planning of Annual Meeting & investor events

Internal Meetings

  • Prepare agenda and relevant reports and materials on a weekly basis for internal team meetings and ad hoc internal requests from management

Misc.

  • Other project work as needed

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with preference for economics, finance, business administration, or accounting
  • 1-3 years relevant work experience at a bank, private equity fund, fund of funds, fundraising organization, LP or similar organization
  • High level proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Strong quantitative skills and background in accounting/corporate finance-related terms
  • Strong preference for candidates that have undergone an institutional training program (e.g. banking, asset management, accounting, etc.)
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
