The job holder will provide high level financial analysis, investment analysis and some portfolio management. Responsibilities include support for the investment of retirement plan, 401(k) plan and charitable foundation assets. The position also supports the actuarial valuation process and interface between the actuaries for the plan and the corporation’s accounting records. The jobholder prepares reports and presentations for the Investment Committee for the retirement plans, 401(k) plans, charitable foundations and other trust funds. The position interacts with actuaries, auditors (internal and external) trustees, investment managers, consultants, legal counsel and other professional organizations. Strong analytical and technical skills (including computer skills) are required. A strong work ethic, good judgment and good interpersonal skills are necessary. Some overtime is required, generally on a quarterly basis, and occasional travel may be necessary.
- Bachelors Degree required. Masters degree and/or five to seven years of equivalent experience preferred. Chartered Financial Analyst and/or relevant experience also preferred.
