Job Purpose / Objective:

This position reports to the HR Director aligned to the Financial Services and National Practice offices in the Mid-Atlantic. The successful incumbent will work closely with the HR Director to support the business unit objectives, providing services and solutions in a proactive, timely and effective manner.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties​

Human Resources

  • Partner with HRD and business management in support of business objectives
  • Address organizational and employee needs through effective execution of processes and programs
  • Support employee engagement and a positive employee relations environment through timely and conscientious responses as well as proactive efforts; respond to employees’ and managers’ HR related inquires
  • Support campus recruiting and internship programming
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and ensure compliance of required documents in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and conduct training for employees
  • Conduct exit interviews and subsequent activities
  • Complete HR-related transactions and route for required approvals; follow through to ensure timely and accurate execution
  • Maintain current HCM system for various sites
  • Serve on Great People, Great Place committee

General Administrative

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned, which may include special projects and involvement in business unit initiatives and resolve a range on internal and external requests

Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist
  • PHR/SPHR preferred
  • Ideal candidate will have knowledge of HR administrative procedures and firm industry knowledge
  • Proficient use of applicable technology including Excel and HR information management systems
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities; strong organization, prioritization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improvement and act upon them
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain relationships and maintain composure
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally to client and vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Ability to work with confidential material
