A top-tier global bank seeks a Compliance professional to join a dynamic, global team comprised of individuals with diverse skills, knowledge and experience.

The Frameworks team is notably gaining recognition throughout Compliance and we expect our roles and responsibilities to enhance. We are looking for the right person to grow with us.

Supports the Compliance function in helping our business partners to proactively identify and measure risks and establish and maintain an effective control environment

Main Functions of the Job

Main Duties include (but are not limited to):

Supporting the design and implementation of  ‘intelligence-based’ tools, products and services including:

o    Global Enterprise-Wide Compliance Risk Assessment (“CRA”);

o    Communication of material regulatory changes to a global, cross-function and business audience using various technological resources;

o    Development, communication and maintenance of high quality Global Policies and Global Standards and effectively managing the related dispensations, waivers and breaches process;

o    Initiating and sustaining constructive relationships with key compliance stakeholders, including senior compliance management;

o    Providing support for all governance processes related to frameworks responsibilities ;

o    Supporting the preparation/presentation of materials to senior management and the regulator

o    Reviewing  end to end processes, identifying areas for continuous improvement and ensuring sufficient control and risk mitigation is in place;

o    Developing and contributing to management information; and

o    Actively participating in the team’s newly implemented cross-training initiative which aims to ensure a dynamic, inclusive work environment where employee knowledge and skill development are supported.

Person/Role Requirements
Basic Qualifications

o    4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent

o    3+ years of experience working in Compliance or Operational Risk Management

Preferred Qualifications

o    Previous experience in at least one of the following :

·         development, design and maintenance of regulatory risk and control frameworks

·         policy drafting & negotiation

·         business writing

·         regulatory change management

o    Uses an agile and pragmatic approach to problem-solving

o    Demonstrates creativity and experimentation in applying solutions. A creative and a forward thinker that possess a willingness to generate , share and implement ideas

o    Analyses information logically and systematically

o    Maintains effectiveness under pressure and with conflicting priorities

o    Demonstrates the ability to apply technical solutions

o    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

o    Takes a broad, long-range approach to understand emerging trends to plan ahead effectively

o    Employs a flexible, consultative, collaborative working style and possess the ability to drive change.
