Overview

The Director, Liquidity Products is responsible for the new product development efforts related to the ICE Liquidity IndicatorsTM business line, including managing a team of skilled quantitative analysts and supporting our business development efforts with an exciting new set of products and services. The candidate must possess a solid understanding of global financial markets, and in particular, a conceptual understanding of the market forces impacting financial market price movements, trading activity, and a the drivers/stressors of market liquidity. The flexibility to adapt to changing requirements is also essential. Experience in a programming language (Python, Java, C+, or R) preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in a programming language (Python, Java, C+, or R) preferred.
  • Manage a team of skilled quantitative analysts and supporting our business development efforts with an exciting new set of products and services.
  • Strong foundational understanding of fixed income securities, bond valuation concepts, statistical methods, and be capable of applying these concepts to develop practical solutions for our clients in the financial industry.
  • Works cross-functionally across the organization in order to achieve business objectives, and the candidate must possess strong communication and collaboration skills in order to be successful.
  • Effective public speaking skills are critically important for supporting business activities when engaging with market participants, describing various aspects of our models and services, and gathering industry requirements to identify new product development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required; MSF/MSQF/MBA/ Preferred.
  • CFA Highly Desired.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Effective leadership qualities managing a team of quants to enable an inspired working relationship, setting goals, and capable of prioritizing workload accordingly.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in practical applications of statistical analysis.
  • Independent self-starter, while being a team player with the willingness to take direction from management.
  • Experience with the fixed income marketplace, with a focus on valuation concepts and understanding of market forces.
  • Capable of working the hours necessary to achieve daily objectives.
  • Ability to facilitate superior relationships with market participants, clients, and colleagues.
  • Preference towards proficiency in understanding coding capabilities on applications such as Python, Java, or VBA.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
