Commercial lending experience and knowledge of loan and traded products documentation is required. Interacts with various levels of management. Requires close working relationships with various business partners. May have limited direct client contact. Requires 20+ years of related experience. This position oversees a $7B loan portfolio of CRE loans.  On average 250 credit approvals per year with many other transactions discussed but not reaching the approval stage.  Responsible for asset quality and forecasting , data integrity of the portfolio.  Partners with Pacific Northwest Market Executive and Wholesale Credit Managers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 20+ years of Commercial lending experience, including underwriting and/or approval of credit exposures
  • Strong partnering skills with ability to navigate across teams, eliminate roadblocks, drive consensus to achieve resolution and ensure successful execution
  • Able to develop and maintain strategic business relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with the commercial credit/real estate policies
  • Perform analysis to support credit policy development, evaluate credit models and monitoring credit performance to ensure adherence to credit risk appetite
  • Reviewing and analyzing performance trends in new loan book, as well as the existing Loan portfolio
  • Identify Responsible Growth opportunities within credit risk appetite
  • Building and presenting performance dashboards with risk metrics to evaluate program performance within expectations
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other analytical discipline / or equivalent work experience
