The Purpose of this job
The Compliance –
Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for supporting and improving compliance in a market. This position must coordinate, complete and oversee job-related activities and assignments, provide supervision and development opportunities for employees and management and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Perform the execution of compliance assessments through using the CIR (Continuous Improvement Review) at all stores, identifying instances of non-compliance with legislation, understanding the root cause for non-compliance and agreeing on and formalizing remedial action to reduce exposure.
Develop action plans to correct deficiencies and attend to non-compliance, to ensure the timely execution of plans, and to identify and assign clear accountability to ensure the successful execution of the plan.
To prepare market level reports and presentations in regard to review findings, levels of compliance, opportunities for further improvement, etc., for each division and compliance discipline.
Identify and recommend mitigation strategies
Consult others, within Compliance and the Divisions, on the development and communication of risk mitigation plans in response to non-compliant observations as a result of the CI Reviews.
Anticipate and develop market and divisional plans to respond to compliance risk with facilitation by SMEs in order to minimize exposure and increase mitigation levels.
Communicate and obtain operational support of compliance initiatives.
Assist in aligning global and market compliance strategy with market specific needs.

Diploma or degree in Law | Compliance | Business Management or equivalent supported by 4 years of associated Head Office or Store experience.
