Your Role

Working under the guidance of the Head of Tax Advantaged Solutions, the analyst will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to team members whose objective is to build and deepen relationships with investors
  • Sales support including database management, analyzing sales data, fielding client requests, and helping define new prospects
  • Strategic analysis of new opportunities including market and competitive analysis – analysis of trends, shares, growth rates as well as the creation of competitor profiles
  • Assisting in the construction of product design including pricing analyses and competitive research
  • Developing strong AQR product and asset class knowledge and demonstrating interest in the industry
  • Liaising with other members of Business Development to update marketing materials and leverage the firm’s intellectual capital (e.g., coordinating the distribution of AQR white papers, webinars and analysis)
  • Completing the investment portion of Requests for Proposal/Information and Due Diligence Questionnaires
  • Helping create and maintain up-to-date, high quality presentation materials
  • Acting as a point of contact for existing investors and responsible for marshalling the full resources of the firm to coordinate responses to all investor inquiries
  • Coordinating client meetings and conference calls with investors
  • Participating in events, meetings, and conferences as they relate to AQR’s tax advantaged solutions

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business or a Science from a top university is preferred. Liberal arts graduates with appropriate work experience will also be considered
  • Up to three years of relevant post-undergraduate experience at a top consulting firm, investment management firm, asset management firm, or investment bank
  • Familiarity with financial services, with a specific focus on asset management
  • Experience with consulting tools and methodologies used in corporate and business strategy and adjacency analysis
  • Excel and modeling skills including in valuation and quantitative forecasting of markets and companies
