Overview

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership & overall management for overseeing the delivery of services for fund accounting, transfer agency and middle office in line with the agreed service levels.

  • Develop & coach staff to the highest standards. Provide relevant product, skills and personal development training. Foster a culture of learning and career progression.
  • Lead effectively, communicating a clear and concise strategy for the team to follow, setting high standards, aligning with our client requirements for top level service, regional & global business objectives and, JPMorgan’s business principles.
  • Foster a strong sense of personal accountability and ownership across all control activities. Develop and maintain effective controls across all service delivery channels.
  • Maintain and periodically review standard operating procedures, ensuring relevant action plans are in place.
  • Develop and maintain a highly effective management information reporting capability, utilizing metrics reporting and workflow/case management dashboards
  • Foster a strong culture of continuous improvement; be proactive in seeking out ongoing opportunities for improvement by simplifying and standardizing processes, using technology solutions and improving vendor performance to deliver better experience for clients.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with senior representatives from TPAs, ensuring service level standards are adhered to. Apply significant & ongoing investment to the TPAs relationship ensuring problems/issues are resolved at the source and new business requirements are planned for strategically and executed upon effectively.
  • Represent the Service Delivery function at internal and joint governance forums
  • Represent the Service Delivery function at internal meetings with stakeholders from across the business.
  • Define business strategy for TPAs services working collegiately with internal partners and TPAs.
  • Ensure functional compliance with regulatory obligations and JPMorgan policy.
  • The successful candidate will a proven leader with a proactive, hands-on management approach and strong operational skills with the following skills.
  • 7+ years relevant financial services industry experience within an Asset Manager or Securities Services organization
  • Experience of managing/leading a relevant Asset Management function or Securities Services function essential
  • Broad knowledge of fund accounting, transfer agency and middle office asset servicing functions essential
  • Expert level understanding required across a minimum of 1 of the following functions: Transfer Agency, Fund/Investment Accounting, Investment Operations
  • Experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities, timelines, and demands
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining effective relations to drive optimal business results
  • Fluency in business English essential, Mandarin and Cantonese preferable
  • Audit background advantageous
