Overview

The U.S. Investment Debt Capital Markets Group advises clients on investment grade bond solutions for acquisitions, recapitalizations and capital expansions.  The Analyst will work on transaction teams to support senior professionals on a variety of corporate finance assignments including investment grade bond and private placement debt transactions.  Specific tasks include financial modeling and credit analysis, comparables analysis, company and industry research, preparation of pitches, security offerings and presentation materials, and database management.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing pitches
  • Obtaining internal approvals to participate in transactions and ensuring that the deal team is following
  • appropriate policies and procedures
  • Financial modeling
  • Maintaining market condition slides
  • Maintaining key databases
  • Conducting due diligence
  • Preparing offering memorandum
  • Deal documentation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one plus years of experience in an investment banking analyst or corporate banking role
  • Outstanding academic achievement
  • Strong quantitative analytic skills
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of capital markets and investment banking products
  • Expertise in financial and computer applications
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under limited supervision
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Understanding/experience with credit analysis
  • Strong interpersonal skills utilized within a team environment
